Lentil Burgers

Ingredients:
- ½ can brown lentils
- ¼ cup of oat flour
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp ketchup
- ½ tsp garlic powder and ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper and ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
- Optional toppings: red onion, lettuce, tomato, etc.
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, start to mash lentils with a fork and
then add in oat flour as a binder.
- Add in the seasonings and form into 2 patties.
- Heat oil of your choice in a pan and place patty in the pan.
- Cook for about 7 minutes on medium heat and then flip and cook for another 5-10 until it reaches the desired temperature and crispiness.
Variations:
- Instead of buying oat flour pre-made, it can be easily made by putting oats in a blender/food processor until completely ground.
- Use other sauteed veggies inside of the burger before you cook the patty.
- This can easily be customized with different burger toppings, buns, and even sauces! Try spicy mayo, ranch, burger sauce, or even sriracha!
