Prep Time: 10 minutes             Freezing Time: 2 hours

Equipment:
knife, plate, plastic wrap, food processor or blender, large spoon or spatula

Servings: 1 serving

Instructions:
1.    Peel the banana and cut into about ¼ inch slices.
2.    Put slices on a plate or tray in a single layer, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for about 1-2 hours.
3.    Blend in a food processor or blender until banana resembles soft serve ice cream.  Use a spatula or large spoon to push bananas down for blending as needed.
4.    Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Variations:
•    Add healthy dried coconut, nuts or lightly drizzle chocolate sauce to make an incredibly delectable dessert!
•    Add peanut butter or cocoa powder to make chocolate banana or peanut butter banana ice cream!
•    This recipe resembles soft serve ice cream.  You can make it more like hand-scooped ice cream by putting it in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before consumption.
•    Frozen canned peaches can be prepared that same way (just freeze the peach slices on a plate right from the can) to make a tasty sorbet.  Other fruits may work, too.  We just haven’t tried them!
