Buffalo Chicken Strips

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 8 oz. each)  
  • 1 cup low-fat buttermilk* 
  • 2 re-sealable plastic bags 
  • cooking spray 
  • 1 cup crushed whole grain flake cereal (e. g., Total or 
  • Nature’s Path Flax Plus Flakes) 
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder 
  • 1 tablespoon oregano 
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper 
  • *1 cup low fat milk with 2 tablespoons lemon juice can be used in place of buttermilk.
